All pipes will be color coded Flexible PEX pipe. This will provide a home run system from a manifold in the water closet. Each line runs to one fixture. This is done to allow a connection to be repaired without having to shut water off to the entire house. And with all of the pipes running in the interior walls, there is almost not chance of the pipes freezing, and even if they froze, there is no guarantee they will crack. Pipe colors are as follows:
- Cold – Blue
- Fire – Orange
- Heating – Clear
- Hot – Red
- Service In – White
- Waste – Black
